About Us
A Dance Therapy was born from a lifelong calling—a deep inner knowing that I was meant to work with children who move through the world differently.
As a child, I grew up with a beloved uncle who was neurodivergent. He was kind, gentle, and misunderstood. His presence planted a seed in my heart—a sensitivity to those who are often unseen or excluded. Later, when I connected with children with Down syndrome and other special needs, that seed ignited into a lifelong commitment: to create spaces where children are not only included, but celebrated.
As a highly sensitive person myself, I understood what it meant to feel different. I knew, deep down, that my path was to honor and uplift children in ways the world often forgets.
Today, A Dance Therapy is that vision come to life: a sanctuary where neurodivergent and differently-abled children can move, connect, express, and thrive—at their own rhythm, in their own way.
With love,
Adriana

The Why
Our Mission
We offer trauma-informed, soul-led dance experiences for neurodivergent children who’ve been excluded from traditional spaces—so they can feel safe, joyful, and powerful in their bodies.
We aim to help them embody their fullest potential—emotionally, physically, and spiritually—while also educating and supporting their families.
Our Vision
To inspire a global shift in how we see and teach differently-abled children—through embodied empathy, joyful learning, and radical inclusion and celebration.
